Some procedures may be performed as an electrocautery surgery, which uses a special instrument to control any bleeding or swelling during the procedure. Electrocautery surgery utilizes a probe that seals blood vessels and nerve endings during the procedure via heat conduction. This means less pain and an easier recovery for your pet!
