Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic in Peoria, IL
Spaying or neutering your pet is an important part of helping them live a healthier life, but we know cost can sometimes make planning for surgery feel more difficult. To help more local pets receive this care, Prairie Animal Hospital offers a low-cost spay and neuter clinic twice a year for eligible cats and dogs.
This limited clinic is offered two times each year: once during the second week of September and again during the third week of January. Space is limited, so we encourage interested pet owners to complete the form below. Once we receive your request, our team will review your pet’s information and contact you with the next steps.
Pricing
Our twice-yearly clinic offers reduced pricing for eligible pets:
- Cats: $100 per cat
- Dogs under 60 lbs: $150 per dog
Pets must be vaccinated before surgery. If your pet needs vaccines, they will be able to receive them the same day as their procedure. Microchipping is also available during the clinic, making it a convenient time to add an extra layer of identification for your pet.
Requirements
Because this is a limited clinic, pets must meet certain requirements before being scheduled. These guidelines help our team provide safe, efficient surgical care for each patient.
To qualify for the low-cost spay and neuter clinic:
- Pets must be under 8 years old.
- Dogs must weigh under 60 pounds.
- Pets must be current on required vaccinations or receive vaccines the same day.
- Appointments are only available during our twice-yearly clinic dates.
